At the inn, figures from all walks of life gather, creating an undercurrent of intrigue. The East and West Bureaus take turns scheming, the innkeeper Jin Xiangyu probes with various tactics, and the assassin Qiu Moyan stirs the pot, making Zhou Huaian increasingly uncertain about the mission's true purpose. As the Ghost Festival approaches, the island’s age-old blood curse resurfaces, revealing the mystery of an elixir of immortality. Director Feng of the East Bureau, driven by greed for the elixir, plans to kill Qu Ling.
